At Scale to Impact, we firmly believe that as entrepreneurs, we possess a unique capacity to generate wealth and drive positive change in the world. We understand that true success extends beyond financial achievements; it lies in the impact we make on the lives of others.

Our CEO’s personal roots trace back to South Africa. There, she witnessed firsthand the daily struggles faced by a Zimbabwean family she came to know closely. This family spans four generations:

A grandmother
Two surviving sisters
Six children
A grandchild

Living in profound poverty without paternal support, they face unimaginable daily challenges. Their strength and potential inspired us to commit to supporting their journey towards self-sufficiency and breaking the generational cycle of poverty.

We’re not just providing temporary relief. Our goal is to equip this family with tools and resources for a sustainable future:

1. Water Survey: In September 2024, after 2 years of planning and saving, we’ll conduct a comprehensive water survey to find the optimal borehole location at their place of residence in Village Jalume, Zimbabwe.

2. Borehole & Solar-Powered System: By December 2024, we aim to drill a borehole 40+ meters deep and install a solar-powered pumping system for consistent clean water access.

3. Sustainable Agriculture: With reliable water, the family can cultivate and sell vegetables. We’ll provide irrigation equipment and education to help them manage vegetable crops effectively, potentially becoming a key source of fresh produce for their community.
